Back to Case StudiesHealth & Human Services Agency Offices for Northeastern San Diego County
The North Inland Live Well Center is a 105,000 square foot state of the art Health & Human Services Agency facility located in Northeastern San Diego County at 649 W. Mission Avenue in Escondido, California. This facility provides numerous Community Mission Critical Services and houses approximately 500 County of San Diego employees. Situated on 9.85 acres, the building was previously occupied by Albertsons and Office Depot, as well as several inline shops. Upon learning of The County of San Diego’s need for a Northern San Diego County Regional Live Well Center, Diamond Development presented an interior space plan along with a creative architectural plan for the building, including a large central skylight to provide ample natural light. A multi-million dollar renovation was undertaken and the project was completed on time and on budget. Community Mission Critical Services offered at this facility include:
- Veteran’s Resource Center
- Family Resource Center
- Public Health Center
- Child Welfare Services
- Department of Child Support Services
- Aging and Independence Services
